Vintage Holiday House Travel Trailer

Holiday house trailer is pulled onto the back of the car on the road to provide a more comfortable sleeping place and protection from the tent. It provides a way for people to have their homes on their way or on vacation, without relying on hotels, and let them stay in places where nothing is available. However, in some countries, camp participants are limited to the specific places to pay for.

Holiday house trailer differs from basic models that may be slightly more than tents on wheels that contain multiple rooms with all furniture, furnishings and appliances. They are mainly used in North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand and are rarely found elsewhere.

In the United States and Canada, the history of holiday house trailer can be traced back to the early 1920s, usually referred to as those who enjoyed their use as “tourist packages”. Over time, the section became more livable and gained new names in the 1930s and 1940s, which were trailer home. In the 1950s and 1960s, the industry looked fragmented and created the two types we see today: the recreational vehicle industry (RV) and the home-based automobile industry. Today trailers are classified as RV type along with mobile homes, fifth-wheel trailers, pop-up trailers, and camping trucks.
